The Park Program
The Zone, together with Nanjing and Yizheng chemical industry park, will be constructed into a basic
petrochemical industry group according to Jiangsu Development Along the Yangtze River Strategy. At
present, the zone covers an area of 50 km2, in which an area of 22.33 km2 in the north of No.312 National
Highway is especially developed for basic industries of petrochemical and port storage, and the area in the
south of No.312 National Highway for ecology control is especially developed for residence, trade and
tourism.
~ Water Supply: Presently, there is a water work with a capacity of 50,1300 tons per day and the large scale
enterprises at riverside have their self-supply water system. According to the overall plan, Jinxi Water Supply Company,
which has a present capacity of I million tons per day, will provide water for daily life use in Danm Economic
Development Zone.
~ Water Drainage: A sewage treatment company with a capacity of 10,000 Ions per day is now in operalion. Recenlly
we have planned to build a new installation with a sewage treatment capacity of 60.000 tons per day with the first-phase
construction of 20,000 tons per day. The discharge of treated sewage will teach the national first-grade A standard.
~ Power Supply: lhere are two substations of 110 KV and 35 KV to supply powen Parts of the companies have their
own 35 KV substations. Recently a new 220 KV substation will be built in the north of the zone.
~ Steam Supply: At present, Hongshun Thermal Power Company with three 75 ton boilers and two steam turbines,
which have a steam supply capacity of IC30 tons per hour, provides steam for the whole area. The expansion project is
under preparation.
~ Gas Supply: LPG and LNG are supplied through pipelines.
~ Communication: As the telecommunication center in the zone, Gaozi Telecommunication Bureau switchboard
capacity teaches 10,000 lines.
~ Storage: Four 50,000-tonnage petrochemical wharfs and complete set of petrochemical products storage facilities are
to be constructed. And also five 50,000 tonnage wharfs for sundry goods, bulk cargo and containers, railway
transportation center, goods transportation center and large scale multifunctional storage will be built to serve the
enterprises in the region, meanwhile, to play its radiating function as the logistic base. |
