The geographic position of Dantu Economic Development Zone is fairly outstanding. The Nanjing Lukou international airport, Shanghai Nanjing Railway, the angtze River, No.312 National Highway and Shanghai Nanjing Expressway have also provided convenience for its transportation. Along the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, there are Shanghai, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong and the Sea. Along the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, there are Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan, Sichuan provinces and so on. Through the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal, it forms an shipping system with the zone at the center. The zone has the specific transportation advantages of water, land and air routes.

    Highway: The zone is close to Shanghai Nanjng Expressway and Zhenjiang Yangzhou Yangtze River Bridge and only 15 minutes to the urban district by bus. No.312 National Highway, Riverside Expressway' and high grade riverside highway are all pass through the zone.

    Railway: The Beijing Shanghai Railway' passes across and a specific raliline linking it in the zone. The Shanghai- Nanjing Express Railway station to be built is only 5 minutes to the development zone by bus.

    Air Transportation: It takes one hour drive to Nanjing Lukou International Airport and Changzhou Airport respectively.Water Transportation: There are now four wharfs of 10,000 tonnage, more than 10 berths of thousand tonnage. Two public wharfs of 50,000 tonnage are being prepared. The zone is equipped with pressure tanks of 6,000 m3, normal pressure tanks of 44,000 m3 and other relevant storage facilities.
